Our history began in 1880 with a simple craft: the art of ice cream, passed through several generations.
Our mission is to make people happy, from the oldest to the youngest, making them taste a unique and exclusive ice cream.

Timeline
First Shop
In 1961, Salvatore Cannella, flanked by his wife, opened the first stable shop in Capaci, Sicily. The tradition, which began eighty years earlier, was then consolidated in the now famous ice cream shop “AL BUON GELATO” by Salvatore Cannella
Today
After sixty years, AL BUON GELATO has nurtured its a reputation as a manufacturer of artisanal ice cream, opening outlets in Sicily and giving smiles to anyone who comes through to enjoy an ice cream prepared following the best current techniques, without forgetting the tradition.
Today, Al Buon gelato manufactures more than 50 different flavors.
The dream of the Cannella family has now become real, bringing the Sicilian tradition beyond the Italian borders.
